Sources say that later this week, Sony will officially announce the new PlayStation Portable 2 (PSP2) will offer 3G data support. Will support 3G mobile content downloads and video and allow multiplayer games via 3G.
It is unclear whether the 3G will only option for Japan in conjunction with NTT DoCoMo, or if Sony has also lined up additional companies outside Japan.
